This is an exciting time to join the Radiology team in the Churchill Hospital, Oxford We provide a literal life changing service for patients, both within Oxfordshire and its surrounding counties.

Main duties of the job

We are a friendly team of nurses, radiographers, radiologists and health care support workers delivering a high standard of care. The unique and varied nature of the speciality means that there is always something new and interesting to learn. Your role is to work as a scrub or a circulating nurse in our angiography suites as well as admitting and looking after our day case patients in the unit. 

This is an opportunity for you to deliver high standard of to patient care. Previous experience working in a theatre environment as scrub or anaesthetic nurse or radiology is desirable not essential. You will be fully supported during your first months with mentorship and a competency training package.

The shift patterns cover Monday to Friday. On call service is provided from on all days a week including bank holidays. Participation in the on call rota is required once sufficient experience and competency is achieved.
