We are seeking aproactive and emotionallyintelligent Year 6 Teacher to join a prestigious school inSlough.

The children are hardworking caringinquisitive and imaginative and the staff here aspire to developwellrounded confident pupils through a supportive pastoralenvironment as a result we are seeking a primary teacher who knowshow to drive attainment and create engaginglessons.

Responsibilities of a Year 6Teacher:

  • As a Year 6Teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of childrentaking their first steps in Key stage 2 promoting teamwork andcultivating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Key stage 2 curriculum to groups of childrenwhile also focusing on each individual childs learning targetsencouraging their strengths and improving theirweaknesses
  • Further developing maths abilityand introducing fractions statistics and geometry
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creatingplots characters and settings for stories.
  • Keeping track of childrens progress and occasionallyreporting back toparents
