Job Description

37.5 Hours per week.  Monday - Friday. 9.00am - 5.00pm.

Purpose of the post: 

Duties of the admin analyst include physical testing of samples, label reviews, report writing and support of the wider team.

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate early into their career wishing to begin a career in Life Sciences. As such, we do not require experience for this role but do require the candidate to have a willingness to learn and and ideally, have an interest in Science.

  • Accept and record incoming samples
  • Perform laboratory testing alongside the laboratory team when required
  • Perform the initial label report check and perform the initial analysis of the label
  • Support the team with the processing, booking and report creation.
  • Record all activities and deviations
  • Ensure the lab area is clean and tidy
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures

Qualifications

Essential

  • 5 GCSE’s C grade and above.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular).
  • Effective communication skills both written and oral.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Organised and can prioritise.
  • Professional and friendly personality.
