Protocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in Southport in their search for an experienced Science Techncian to deliver support to A Level Science classes.

The role;

This role is offering Full time hours on a temporary basis.

You will be working within the colleges Science department, the ideal candidate will provide technical support across the range of Science disciplines, including Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Working in a number of laboratories across the two college sites, assisting lecturing staff in practical situations where required. Other duties include stores management, general maintenance, and Health and Safety checks and procedures.

Have you got what it takes?

•   Previous experience of working as a Science technician or other alternative relevant experience. 

•  Previous laboratory experience, including COSHH assessments in a similar science/technician role

•   Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Numeracy and Literacy

•   Advance qualification in the science field or relevant qualifications combined with industrial experience
