Job Introduction
The Branded Business Unit (BBU) is at the heart of William Grant & Sons, and is responsible for the development, growth, and sale of our award-winning brands to customers globally. The role involves business partnering with the global marketing brand teams for the non-scotch portfolio to achieve financial and brand building objectives.
Main Responsibility
You’ll be supporting the Finance Manager for Irish Brands, in the provision of accurate and timely monthly accounts, latest estimates, budgets and commercial analysis to support business decision making, and to help develop and implement financial procedures & controls. You'll be a key business partner to the global marketing team providing financial support and analysis and input on new product development.
The key to success in this role is building strong relationships with the global marketing team, visitor centre team, group finance and marketing finance to ensure that Irish Brands is consistently providing high quality financial analysis and commentary.
Our Ideal Candidate
You will be a qualified accountant with at least 1 year Post Qualified Experience. You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, advanced excel and modelling skills & have a keen eye for detail, data accuracy and integrity. You will be used to operating in a dynamic environment with regular deadlines. You will be solution-orientated, with a get up and go attitude, proactively suggesting and implementing new ways of working to improve our efficiency and effectiveness.
