Our client is seeking highly motivated and skilled people to complement their workforce and join in with the development of new technologies and new directions for the company. They're currently looking for a Machine Tool Fitter in Coalville, and the role comes with a generous salary and benefits package.

As a Machine Tool  Fitter, you will be working for an established manufacturer of world-class polishing machines in the field of ultra-precision surfaces. Their latest developments use intelligently controlled robot machines to polish complex surfaces for a range of diverse and technologically advanced applications across several industry sectors.

Examples of day to day activities include:

  • Using precision measuring equipment: TalyVel straightness gauge or equivalents
  • Using optical alignment telescopes
  • Using Renishaw laser and ball-bar testing equipment.

The ideal candidate will have established machine tool fitting experience and the ability to adapt to new technologies and challenges. You will also require the following:

  • Mechanical fitting experience in a relevant industry, and machine tool experience
  • A 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to self-start
  • A willingness to solve on the spot technical problems
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment, TalyVel straightness gauge or equivalents.
