Purpose of the role


To aid our continued growth, we are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our expanding Development Team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in scaling our product offerings and unlocking a customer backlog, working closely with high-caliber financial institutions. You will have significant involvement in the continual evolution of our products, collaborating with the team to enhance and develop our technology.


Championing our collaborative environment, you will work closely with Software Engineers, NLP Engineers, Product Managers, BA’s and Designers to implement robust and scalable applications. Your work will focus on developing customised pipelines and outcomes for our flagship enterprise customers and you will work at the intersection of GenAI, LLMs, and proprietary NLP models.



Requirements

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic person with a strong academic background, eager to shape an exciting project with substantial commercial potential. The successful candidate will be a core part of the Development Team, helping build our platform across advised services. Customising financial services outputs using GenAI will be your primary focus, leveraging your skills in full-stack engineering, NLP, and cloud technologies (AWS).


Knowledge, skills, and qualifications


  • Experience working within an AWS environment with a focus on data processing

  • Interest in AI, NLP and Machine learning

  • Expertise in prompt engineering 

  • Experience interacting with chatGPT through their API’s and playgrounds

  • Experience following Agile working practices

  • Educated to degree level in Computer Science or similar

  • Desire to learn new skills, working as part of a dynamic and ambitious team


Essential Skills

  • Node.js, Typescript, GIT

  • AWS. Familiarity with AWS for data access

  • LLM’s & GenAI. Experience interacting with LLMs through their APIs

  • Experience in prompt engineering

  • Understanding of NLP principles for model development and evaluation

  • Experience processing text, and speech

  • Understanding DAGs and data flows

  • Being able to strategise on how to to transform data


Desirable Skills


  • Python (optional)

  • Complex NLP skills including

  • Embeddings

  • Fine tuning

  • Basic Knowledge of finance services with a focus on wealth management systems and processes
