We have a great opportunity based at our Bedford campus for a Teaching Assistant to become a key member of our Additional Support department.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

Providing support to students with the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) accessing vocational and academic courses across the college from level one to level three. Work under the direction of the Additional Learning Support Team Leader and class teacher to implement strategies in line with students’ individual support plan. Being an active member of the Additional Learning Support Team and to support the success of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Our ideal candidates will have experience of providing support to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in an educational or care setting using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), alongside the following qualifications:

Educated to Level 2 in Maths and English Relevant L3 qualification or willingness to work towards
