About the Role…

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll, Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and managing payroll and time and attendance systems, overseeing outsourced payroll operations, and leading compensation analysis. This role will also involve project management of related IT systems, as well as the administration of employee benefits. The successful candidate will ensure that all compensation and benefits processes are accurate, compliant, and aligned with company goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end payroll processes, including the preparation, validation, and processing of payroll until outsourcing is concluded. Implementation and Management: Set up and manage payroll and time & attendance systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing HR and financial systems. Data Accuracy, audits & Compliance: Maintain accurate payroll data, including employee records, salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions. Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure compliance. Outsourced Payroll Management: Oversee the relationship with the outsourced payroll provider, or TSA provider, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality of payroll processing. Approvals where required Liaise with Finance teams to ensure cashflow, and accurate recording of payroll costs, and deal with any queries. Market Benchmarking: Conduct market research and compensation benchmarking to ensure competitive salary structures. Compensation Strategy: Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with the company’s goals and employee retention objectives. Data Analysis: Analyse compensation data and prepare reports for management, offering insights and recommendations. Oversee the administration of employee benefits programmes, including health insurance, pension schemes, wellness programmes, and other ancillary benefits. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with benefits providers and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms and services for employees. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll, benefits, and compensation regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant. Reporting: Generate and analyse reports on payroll, compensation, and benefits, providing insights and recommendations to management.

Candidate Requirements

Certification in Compensation, Benefits, or Payroll (e.g., CIPD, CBP, or CIPP). Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with specific experience in payroll management, benefits administration, and HRIS. Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll systems, HRIS, and time & attendance software. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Project Management: Proven ability to lead and manage projects, with strong organisational and time management skills.
