The Job Role involves performing cleaning & catering duties , to the required standards & in compliance with legislation
Full Time ,Part Time , Flexible hours all available .
Main duties of the job
1. Cleaning duties within the allocated department of work & associated areas in accordance with the Departmental cleaning schedule, National Cleaning Standards & including specialist cleaning as required by Infection Control.
2. Assist with Ad-Hoc light Portering duties.
3. Checking equipment to be used & displaying warning signs to comply with the Health & Safety Regulations.
4. Ensuring correct Waste Segregation disposal procedures in accordance with Trust Policy.
5. Regeneration & serving of food, beverage preparation & associated duties.
6. Distribution & collection of linen to wards & other associated laundry duties.
7. Completion of Trust & departmental paperwork in accordance with standing instructions.
8. Assistance with Health , Safety, Hygiene & monitoring checks/audits.
9. To observe Food Hygiene Legislation, Hospital & Client Policies & Procedures at all times, reporting any faults, defects or Operational issues to the Supervisor/Manager/Client Representative.
10. Engagement with all Training Programmes/Courses relevant to the Job Role.

Qualifications
Essential
Providing & receiving routine information orally, in writing & electronically to assist in understanding own job, judgements involving straight facts or situations. Able to cope with a sometimes unpredictable environment. Moderate physical abilities required to carry out this post. Food Service delivery of meals to service users (obtained through Training & good practice.
Desirable
Hospital Cleaning Techniques, Food Hygiene/Safety. Able to organise own day to day work task obtained through good practice QCF Level 2 or equivalent in Hospitality/Cleaning & Support Services, or willing to work towards achieving qualifications. Good basic IT Skills. Level 2 Food Hygiene or equivalent.
