QueensPark Care is working with a valued client looking to recruit aRegional Director for their Scotland region covering threemediumsized care homes with one more pending contract completion.

Our client operates seven carehomes across the UK. They are committed to providing the higheststandards of care to their residents and believe in a friendly andhomely atmosphere where residents can live afulllife.

The JobRole:

As a RegionalDirector and part of the Senior Management Team you will contributeto the Company's strategic leadership direction anddevelopment. You will define and implement business plans in linewith the business strategy set and monitor definitive targets andensure the appropriate balance between operational efficiency andcommercial effectiveness isachieved.

Summary Of Duties:
  • CareStandards Promote a strong careethos based on Vision Mission and Values striving to achieve thehighest standard of care and resident outcomes. To become theleading care provider in the industry and work towards an"Excellent" outcome from the Care Inspectoratefor all Homes. To ensure that the Homes comply with all statutoryand regulatoryrequirements.
  • NominatedIndividual Develop andmaintain external relationships in the community and with strategicpartners. Hold a pivotal leadership role in your services and leadand support your services in embedding the skills knowledge andvalues required for continuousimprovement.
  • FinancialPerformance Seek opportunitiesto improve the company's financial performance. Maintainand execute a profit improvement plan that includes revenueraisingand costefficiency initiatives applying resources as appropriate tounderperforming homes. Monitor the financial performance of thehomes including making sure that staff work to the requiredrotas.
  • OperationalDuties Ensure that Home Managersare familiar with and comply with all Company Policies proceduresand legislative requirements governing the Operation of Homes andthat these have been conveyed to home staff. Complete internalaudits and reports and develop improvement plans within agreedtimeframes.
  • Salesand Marketing Work with theOwners to improve the quality of the external network ofrelationships with customers and other influential organisationsincluding Local Authorities private and voluntary sectororganisations andsocieties.
  • HumanResource Management Regularlymonitor the performance of all staff giving support to HomeManagers on specific staffing issues including recruitmentcampaigns communication needs and disciplinary and grievancematters in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Toappraise the performance of the Home Manager and agree onobjectives aligned to operational and financial targets. Agree ontraining and development needs for the Home Managers. Undertakeformal supervision with HomeManagers.

What YouNeed To Succeed:
  • At leasttwo years of continuous experience as a Regional Manager/ Directorwithin the healthcare sector with a proven trackrecord
  • Knowledgeof Care Inspectorate (CI)Guidelines
  • Experiencein multisite leadership with management of finance systems andbudgets
  • A proventrack record of leading and building highperformingteams
  • Able todrive
  • Able tostay away from own home whenrequired
