Planner

We're looking for a Planner to join our Severn Trent team covering the Severn Trent contract at Finham, Ludlow, Itchen Bank and Wellsbourne.

 

Location: South Midlands at one of these sites: Finham WwTW, Ludlow STW, Itchen Bank STW, Wellsbourne STW.

Hours:  45 hours per week – the role is mainly site based, but we are able to offer flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Planner, you'll be working within the Severn Trent team, supporting them in developing, updating and managing the construction programme to support on-time delivery.

Your day to day will include:

Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.

Updating the Detailed Design Programme (Pre-Construction Programme) along with our

Designers in assurance of providing a robust and realistic programme that reflects the risk and opportunity that could impact key project milestones

Review and develop the preferred construction sequence considering project wide constraints to confirm the duration in the overall scheme programme

  • Facilitate construction readiness planning
  • Arrange, facilitate and provide output from client and supply chain collaborative

planning sessions

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Planner is great for you if:

  • Experienced in the use of Primavera P6
  • Ideally progressed from site engineering into a planning role
  • Experienced working in a major contracting environment
