Although experience in care is advantageous, we are accepting applications from people with no previous experience as full training will be provided. We are welcoming experience in hospitality, retail and customer service sectors to make use of those invaluable transferable skills needed to become an outstanding care assistant.
What are the roles and responsibilities of being a Care Assistant with SureCare?
Providing personal care, washing and dressing, oral care Providing emotional support Food preparation Support with medication administration Support within the community Domestic tasks Respite care Sleeping nightsWe are looking to hold interviews and recruit staff ASAP so if you think this is the role for you, apply today.
This role requires that the applicant resides in the UK and has the right to work in the UK. We are not sponsoring VISA applications at this time.
Key Points:
Employment is subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and the right to work in the UK Completion of all SureCare theoretical and practical training Required to work alternative weekends No experience or qualifications needed although experience is advantageous Full and valid driver’s licence with own transport is essential
Benefits:
Hourly rates: £12.60 for weekdays, £13.70 for evenings (after 6pm) and for weekends Bank holidays: £18.90 in the day and £20.55 after 6pm. Christmas Day and New Year’s Day are both paid at double time Paid travel time for travelling between clients' homes Paid mileage 30p per mile in addition to paid travel time Opportunity for pay increases as you become more qualified Annual loyalty bonus (conditions apply) Weekend and evening only roles also available Guaranteed hours contracts available after successful completion of probationary period, subject to availability Access to our extensive e-learning programme and ongoing on-the-job learning and support, as well as specific training and guidance as you progress and begin to specialise in different areas of care Encouragement throughout, for career progression in our ever-growing team and access to fully funded diploma (NVQ) qualifications Refer a friend bonus scheme - £250 for each referral with additional £250 on their 1 year anniversary Refundable DBS after successful completion of probation period Free Blue Light Card giving access to 1000's of online and high street discounts Working within an amazing team offering support and guidance at all times-
