Job Duties:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Geography to students
  • Develop and implement engaging teaching strategies
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in school events and meetings
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Geography or a related field
  • Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Geography specialisation
  • Experience working in a diverse school environment
Working Conditions:
  • Temporary position with full-time hours
  • Classroom-based teaching in a secondary school
  • Collaboration with colleagues and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
