Keyresponsibilities willinclude;

  • Internal and externalcommunication
  • Building suitable resources tosupport business ambitions
  • Leading businesschange and innovation
  • Supporting theoperational team frompreconstruction
  • Preparation of associated feeproposals
  • Managing and coordinating schemedelivery in required timeframes from ecologicalassessments
  • BNG assessments and traditionalecological surveying.
  • Responsible for thespecific ecological profit and loss for this businessunit
  • Coordinating subconsultant supply chainresource vetting and QA of requiredoutput.
  • Line management of the ecological team(resource ecologist/grad ecologist &subconsultants

This is a great rolefor experienced environmental or ecological experts ideally with astrong focus on rail. You willneed;

  • Full membership of CIEEM (orworking towards it)
  • Knowledge and experience ofpolicy regulations standards metrics and tools relating tobiodiversity along with general wildlife legislation across the UKand its application.
  • Experience andunderstanding of UKHab classification Biodiversity Metric andstrong botanical skills;
  • A background inconversation or deep understanding of conservation managementmethods related to biodiversity;
  • Experience ofhabitat creation and management.
  • Haveexperience in customer facing situations related to early customerengagement;
  • Have high attention to detailespecially with technical outputexcellence;
  • Experience of operating at a seniorlevel leading the biodiversity elements of major projects anddelivery of highqualitydeliverables
  • Demonstrable experience ofmanaging complex projects including commercial resourcing andscheduling activities
  • Good GISskills

This is a hybridrole with plenty of working at home therefore we can be flexible onlocation however nationwide travel may be required from time totime therefore you must hold full UK drivinglicence
