Are you an experienced and dynamic professional with a passion for managing critical facilities? We are seeking a visionary  Director of Estates  to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will drive excellence in the management of our extensive healthcare estate, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

As the Director of Estates, your strategic leadership will shape the future of our estate. You'll develop and implement a robust Estates Strategy, guiding the delivery of Hard FM services across our large hospital site in the West Midlands.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining statutory compliance. Ensuring fire safety protocols, Permit to Work procedures, and other essential policies are in place will be central to your role.

Managing a direct workforce of approximately 1, staff, you'll oversee both Hard and Soft Estates services. Your expertise will contribute to our goal of delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community.

Demonstrated skill in managing budgets and account plans is essential. Your financial acumen will drive efficient resource allocation and service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

Our ideal person will have successfully served as a Director of Estates or in a similar leadership role, demonstrating strategic vision and operational excellence. Your understanding of the healthcare sector, including its unique challenges and regulations specific to hospitals, will be invaluable and your ability to work autonomously and lead diverse teams, including matrix management, will be crucial.

Ideally, you hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, technology, technical fields, education, or communications.
