We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Recovery Workers who are motivated to work as part of a thriving and diverse team, ensuring recovery opportunities are available for individuals at any point in their recovery journey.
Main duties of the job
You will work as part of a team with the aims of: understanding your clients keeping them safecreating a plan they can achieve with your supportchecking in with them and reviewing their progresskeeping accurate and timely records of your contact with themworking effectively with other social care providers Housing, to cover all aspects of their successful recovery continuously learning and reflecting to improve the outcomes for your clientssupporting your colleagues across the service to deliver excellent careThere will be assessments to carry out and records you need to keep and update, that's all part of our professional commitment and service to our clients and commissioners.

Job responsibilities
Our vibrant and busy services in Glasgow provides support to people concerned about their own or someone else's alcohol or drug use. We have 2 Recovery Hubs, one each in in Maryhill and Bridgeton, however much of our work is carried out in the local community. We work with people at all stages on their journey providing both one to one appointments and group work. You will strive to work collaboratively with partners and communities, ensuring that we are as accessible as possible and that the principles of a Recovery Oriented System of Care and true person centred practice are at the heart of all that we do. An SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Health care is essential for this post. There are several posts available as below, please inidicate which role(s) you are interested in as part of your application: North West Glasgow Recovery Hub - 1 full time permanent post, 1 full time, fixed term post until August 2025North East Glasgow Recovery Hub - 1 full time permanent post, 1 full time, fixed term post until August 2025 The salary range for these positions is £23, - £31, per annum, dependent on experience. Qualifications
Essential
Attained SVQ level 3 in Social Services & Healthcare or equivalent Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or meet the registration requirements You will also need to meet our safeguarding requirements of a satisfactory enhanced PVG check A full job description and person specification is available on request
Experience
Essential
To be successful in this role you will: have some experience of working in a health, social care, or related setting have some experience of delivering services in a community setting have knowledge and understanding of delivering evidence-based interventions have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise you work able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion and be happy to support other With You locations when needed
Desirable
Ideally you will also have previous experience of working or volunteering with people who misuse substances. We welcome applications from those with lived experience.-
