Were obsessed with providing the best possible care and support to people with disabilities. Are you?

We are looking for a Personal Assistant to help support a woman, based near Eaglesfield. This woman has cognitive issues, but is very active. She is always happy and joyful.

She is looking for support to attend aqua aerobics classes, to attend daycare centre and support with her medical appointments. She loves to walk and garden you would be supporting her with these activities.

She is also passionate about cooking; she requires support in the kitchen as she loves to cook for her family. You would be supporting her with companionship.

You will be given 10 hours per week to begin with. Then this will increase over time to 20 hours as she becomes more comfortable with you.

Due to the location you need to have your own transport. In regards to appointments you will be using your car or the clients car. You will be reimbursed for your petrol.

Working with this lady:

£13.00 - £14.00 per hour depending on experience 10 hours per week to start with and then extended to 20 hours a week. Experience with cognitive issues an advantage Familiar with kitchen and can cook. Likes walking An interest in gardening Friendly and reliable Empathy and understanding of the clients needs Flexible Good Communication skills Own transport due to rural location Willing to use own transport to and from appointments etc PVG Required Probationary Period
