"PACE" (Programme Advisory and Capital Excellence) is part of KPMG's Major Projects Advisory team - a multi-disciplinary team of cross-sector experts in complex project and programme delivery. We are looking for experienced experts in project and programme management and controls who seek an exciting long-term career in our team. Your experience to date could be from within any of our target sectors above. And, although we are primarily focussed on these sectors within the UK, we also recognise the opportunity of experience and insights from other countries and regions, especially the Middle East.

Ideally, your delivery experience would be gained from Infrastructure-related Projects and Programmes, but we'll happily consider candidates with experience in other field relevant to our work.

About the role

The things we do are wide-ranging and require plenty of entrepreneurial ability and intellectual curiosity.

As a Executive in our team, you will be right at the forefront of delivery, playing a pivotal role, bringing to life tailored solutions for our client's complex challenges whilst managing important relationships. It is a role that requires you to wear many hats, but you'll be well supported by the rest of us.

Specifically, your day-to-day involves:
Being part of high-performing, multi-disciplinary consulting teams Assisting in the delivery of client-facing work within specialist areas, ensuring new processes and tools are designed with a strong human /end user focus - this includes producing high-quality outputs with serious attention to detail Producing high quality documents and analyses to support engagements and internal projects Keeping up to date with specific (technical) developments affecting your work, contributing to thought leadership Building your understanding of the broader suite of services offered by KPMG and sharing ideas to collaborate and design unique solutions for our clients Fostering an inclusive, diverse and flexible environment where everyone can thrive Business development - assisting with bids Coaching and mentoring your colleagues - both up and down Most importantly, being a role model for KPMG and living our values every day

About the sort people we're looking for

There is no one-size fits all in MPA; we're as diverse as the world around us. We hand pick our people because they're our most important asset - and people pick us because we really mean that.

Executives in our team are right at the forefront of delivery, and this role requires some management consulting experience - ideally gained from Infrastructure-related Projects and Programmes, but we'll happily consider candidates with experience in other relevant fields (such as Government and other large Owner/Operators).

As part of a team of consultants on the ground, you'll be applying your experience every day, bringing to life tailored solutions for our clients whilst managing important relationships.

It's a demanding job, but you'll be well supported by the rest of us. After all, everything we do is a team sport.

Your track record should evidence:
A good spread of experience using different software/applications ( Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Oracle P6, Slack, Clarizen) Relevant professional certification - APM PMQ/PPQ; MoP; MSP; PRINCE2 Good understanding of Project Controls, including monitoring, reporting, planning, scheduling, cost control / estimation, risk management, change control, assumption A foundation of excellent academics and good career progression to date Strong critical, analytical and problem-solving skills An ability to build and maintain great relationships and a desire to network across our firm Confident communication and presentation skills

Experience in one or more of the following areas would also help you stand out - but it's not essential:
Delivering targeted business process improvement(s) in relation to Capital Investment Portfolios and major Projects/Programmes Supporting delivery of advisory services such as organisational design and governance optimisation Working in partnership with clients to shape strategic direction and helping them to go out and implement Performance and efficiency improvement Enhancing Project and Programme controls Assurance and monitoring Troubled Project/Programme reviews
