Procurement Specialist - Fareham, Hampshire

 

Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Under pressure drilling and pipeline equipment supplying the Gas & Water Industries in the UK and export to 105 countries worldwide.

 

They have a vacancy for a Procurement Specialist to join the team at our offices in Fareham. We are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated, and experienced individual who will be working within a small but dynamic team.

The candidate will have the opportunity to join a well-established and growing business with a competitive salary ( Neg depending on experience) and excellent benefits package

 

The successful applicant must have very good purchase management experience ideally within a business that deals with mechanical components and subcontractor machine shops. Knowledge of a range of manufacturing techniques is preferable but not essential including Turning, Milling, Pipe & Sheet Fabrication, and welding. 

 

The applicant will have demonstrable experience in purchase management, bills of materials creation, and cost control.

 

The applicant must have demonstrable experience in a previous purchase management role.
