About the Role:

GSL Education is currently seeking to appoint a Math Teacher to undertake a position at one of our client schools in Barnsley . We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Math Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Barnsley.

Job Summary:

Math teachers maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment conducive to mathematical exploration and inquiry. They manage classroom behavior and promote mutual respect among students.

Role of a Math Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and effective math lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Plan and prepare curriculum-aligned lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning goals.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to active participation and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the school's overall success.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working as a teacher within an educational setting.
  • Original or certified copies of your degree certificates relevant to teaching science (, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education, PGCE).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certificate or evidence of completion of a recognized teacher training program.
  • Hold relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or a related field.
  • Are passionate about supporting the learning and development of student and making a positive difference in their lives.
