Platinum Recruitment is working with a well-established residential home and we have an exciting new vacancy for a chef based in Hastings.

Rate of pay/Salary: £35,000

What's involved?

  • As the chef, you'll cooking breakfast lunch and dinner for the residents (full capacity at 80)
  • You'll be working with a team consisting of a Head Chef and kitchen assistants
  • This is a full-time position of 40 hours, but timings and contracts can be flexible.
  • There are no evenings and only alternate weekends

The Ideal Candidate in Hastings

  • The ideal candidate will be able to show management, training, and menu writing experience.
  • Knowledge of IDDSI is advantageous, as you'll need to ensure that care/support plans are followed according to each individual's nutritional needs.
  • Be willing to get a DBS Certificate
  • Have Food Hygiene and Food Allergen Certificates
