Job summary
Yorkshire Ambulance Service currently has a vacancy for the position of HART Training and Assurance Manager. The base station for this post will be Leeds, with the successful candidate required to travel between sites throughout Yorkshire and nationally.
The post holder will also be required to attend incidents undertaking the role of National Inter agency Liaison Officer (NILO) by participating in an on-call rota.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead in development and delivery of the training and exercising of the Hazardous Area Response Team in order to maintain compliance against National Operating Standards. The post holder will report directly to the HART and Special Operations Area Manager in ensuring the delivery of specialist response capabilities as part of the Trust's requirement to maintain approved levels of operational readiness and compliance. These will be in accordance with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, and the NHS' Emergency Preparedness Resilience Response (EPRR) Core Standards and the NARU Service Specification.

Qualifications

HCPC Registered Paramedic Recognised teaching qualification or working towards one Knowledge and understanding of the delivery of high level pre-hospital critical care within the scope of HART paramedics. Recognised assessing qualification or working towards one
Experience
Essential
Evidence of facilitating/working with multi agency teams Proven leadership or managerial experience
Personal
Essential
Be able to gain security clearance to at least SC level Be able to successfully pass essential training requirements as defined in the YAS Commander Framework (which may include time away from home) Ability to quickly develop effective working relationships, demonstrating professional credibility with colleagues at all levels-
