Speech and Language Therapist Opportunity - Join Our Exceptional Team

Are you a skilled Speech and Language Therapist looking for a fulfilling part-time role? We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join our SEND department for one day a week, totaling 6 hours, at a well-regarded secondary school in Romsey.

Role Overview: We seek a dedicated professional to support our students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of experience and a passion for innovative, multi-sensory approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized support to students with diverse speech and language needs.
  • Utilize multi-sensory approaches, including Zones of Regulation, functional life skills, and curriculum development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using frameworks such as TEACCH and SCERTS.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children and young people in a speech and language capacity.
  • Proficiency in multi-sensory approaches and collaborative multidisciplinary strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
