General Manager


We have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager based at our Heathrow depot to provide and promote service excellence and a best in class rental service to businesses in the designated area.

This role will keep you on your toes and has a lot of elements to it. Here is a flavour of what you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Overseeing all operations to ensure customer fulfilment.
  • Develop strategies to improve assigned area contribution.
  • Influence sales performance, through effective fleet and sales strategy.
  • Responsible for upholding strong audit, health and safety and compliance standards.
  • Managing forecasts, budgets and paying attention to cost control.
  • Recruits, develops, and manages suitably qualified staff.

To be successful in this role:

  • Have extensive managerial experience at an equitable level.
  • Be Proficient in Business Development and Account Management.
  • Able to work to targets and deadlines.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with an ability to forecast, budget and pay attention to cost control and ROI.
  • Will possess a genuine passion for people and have exceptional levels of standards and customer service.
  • You’ll always lead by example - rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done. It’s how you’ll encourage everyone else to give that little bit more.
  • All candidates will need to demonstrate that they have the Right to Work in the UK.
  • A clean driving license is also highly desirable.
