A day in the life of a Special Projects Graduate 

Building effective relationships with colleagues across all business areas at all levels Being a point of contact for general queries, escalating where appropriate Assisting with the administration of various innovation initiatives Supporting the Special Projects team  Gain knowledge of our processes, products, and teams  Hands on project experience within the Special Project’s team

Organisation:  The pace at AVEVA can be exciting and fast, so whilst you will need excellent time management and effective prioritisation, we will do all we can to support a balanced portfolio of work, and your wellbeing.  Problem-solving : You’ll need to enjoy getting stuck into problems. Troubleshooting and solving challenging problems is a big part of this role.  Flexibility : The nature of the role will require you to be able to switch between a diverse set of responsibilities. The variety of the types of work will cover a broad range so being able to apply yourself flexibly is a must.  Technical : Demonstrated technical proficiency in Power BI, Azure DevOps toolset, and the Microsoft Suite for comprehensive data analysis, project management, and productivity tasks.

Qualifications

At least a 2:1 degree in Business Information Technology or business-related subject; project management and/or general business management; related IT experience

Work Experience

0-2 Years Experience Previous internship or project experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, plan, and execute special projects. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support project development and decision-making. Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Support Program Management, methodology control and governance.  Work closely with team members to implement and iterate on project strategies and support embedding common programme delivery methodology.  Provide regular updates on project progress and key milestones. Support the development of, managing, and improvement of stakeholder relations. Contribute creative ideas and insights to enhance project outcomes. Work with development teams to advise and contribute to improvements to operational stability. Support the management, acceptance and adoption of changes across the business.  Assist in the adoption of organisational change management principles and practice by delivery team.  Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of R&D processes, adding value through optimization, automation and effective reporting.  Other duties as assigned within the scope of the Special Projects Team.
