Job Title: Marketing Executive

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid)

About Us:

Thorn Baker is a well-established recruitment company with a strong presence in the Industrial, Construction, and Facilities Management sectors. We are seeking a Marketing Executive to join our in-house team and play a vital role in delivering strategic B2B and B2C marketing campaigns that support our long-term business plans, sales activities, and candidate attraction targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the sales teams to execute high-quality candidate attraction and business development campaigns across Thorn Baker's three core brands: Industrial, Construction, and Facilities Management. Take a proactive approach to develop, coordinate, and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, online advertising, PR, social media, and digital initiatives. Ensure that all marketing activities align with our business plan and are executed within budget constraints. Assist in managing, maintaining, and enhancing our company website, with a particular emphasis on SEO. Create compelling and engaging copy for various purposes, including thought leadership pieces, website content, news articles, and press releases. Review and edit candidate and client communications for accuracy and effectiveness. Maintain the professional image and branding consistency of Thorn Baker across all collateral. Contribute to data management and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Act as a point of contact for day-to-day marketing queries. Measure and provide ROI reports for marketing activities.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Executive with the following qualifications and attributes:

Previous experience working in a marketing environment. A solid understanding of both online and offline marketing channels. A collaborative and positive team player. Willingness to be hands-on and actively participate in marketing initiatives. Excellent communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders, as well as suppliers. Proactive and capable of working independently. A keen eye for design and a flair for creativity. Strong numeracy skills. Exceptional attention to detail, including copywriting and proofreading skills. Hands-on experience using social media as a marketing tool and familiarity with third-party apps and software such as Spotler, Hootsuite, and Survey Monkey. Proficiency in design tools like Photoshop and/or Canva would be advantageous. Experience in managing website updates using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. Proficiency in using Microsoft packages and a natural affinity for technology and software.
