Carbonisation Operative

TerrAffix, a member of RSK Group, is seeking a Carbonisation Operative to join the team based at our office in Pembrokeshire. This is a full-time, permanent role with a hybrid working basis consisting of home and onsite working at various locations. 

Our TerrAffix team are currently supporting clients and stakeholders across the UK, providing accountable, nature-based solutions that support circular economy, green infrastructure and biodiversity projects.

As a Carbonisation Operative, the individual will play a key role in assisting the delivery of our Carbonisation programme. Assisting projects from commencement to completion, the candidate will be trained in order to help design and action operational and sampling procedures, analytical programmes, and the deployment of materials across multidisciplinary schemes and projects.

Responsibilities:

The role will require a willingness to work away for extended periods of time subject to the work programme and staffing needs.

• Responsible for assisting projects from commencement to completion
• Providing technical assistance at all stages of field and onsite assessments, and analytical programmes
• Assist in the provision and continued delivery of best practice in Health & Safety  and take an active lead on H&S within the company
• Ensure that all safety processes and procedures are completed and kept up to date
• Maintain, implement and evolve policies and procedures, in accordance with business and project needs, to ensure that activities, processes and work areas are regulatory compliant
• To facilitate and assist the with the dissemination of our nature-based solutions

Person specification:​

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience of working on a civil site and knowledge of H&S will be advantageous
• Attention to detail
• An understanding / interest in the carbonisation process
• Full training will be given

Salary / Benefits:

• £28,000 per annum
