Job Description:
  • As aField Engineer 3 you will perform activities associated withinstalling diagnosing maintaining and servicing computerrelatedproducts including but not limited to desktop & laptopcomputers printers standard software and/or depot locations.
  • This is a journeymanposition for the typical desk side support technician.
  • You will be directed by Help DeskService Desk or script using standard methods techniques and tools.
  • You will also applypersonal knowledge to resolve product support issues that could notbe addressed by service desk.
  • Your assignments will range in complexity fromtroubleshooting and repair including reloading and reimaging ofPCs/laptops.
  • Occasional assistance with the server and/or networkteams may be required under direct instruction from those teams.
Responsibilities
  • Providessupport for software hardware and networking support for desktopslaptops Installs and maintains PCs and associated software
  • Performs installsmoves adds and changes as required
  • Provides followup on problems or escalation.
  • Maintains a highdegree of professionalism in actions demeanor and dress. Insurescustomer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met andincident and request tickets are updated accordingly within theticketing system
  • Provides support for software hardware and networkingsupport for desktops laptops
  • Installs and maintains PCs and associated software andperipherals
  • Performsinstalls moves adds and changes as required Provides followup onproblems or escalation.
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actionsdemeanor and dress.
  • Insures customer satisfaction throughout the servicedelivery transaction.
  • Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are metand incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within theticketing system
  • Experience with Windows10/11 and Mac OSx 12.6 or lateris a requirement.
TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have
  • Desktop/Laptop Repair
  • Laptop/ Desktop server experience
  • Mac (MONTEREYVENTURA SONOMA) AND WINDOWS OS EXPERIENCE IN A PROFESSIONAL SETTING
