SOC Trainer

The role...

To provide a comprehensive training programme to all members of staff, ensuring a high level of competence throughout SOC, Administration and Customer Care. Identifying training needs of employees, producing, and scheduling a comprehensive training plan for deployment. 

What you will do...

• Responsible for creation of comprehensive training plan for all SOC, Administration Customer Care employees at Waterlooville SOC in conjunction with the Training Manager
• Responsible for delivering training at Waterlooville SOC
• Responsible for identification of all training requirements
• Responsible for implementation of employee assessments
• Responsible for assessing employees competence
• To assist the departmental managers in production of new modules and amendments to existing modules within the training manuals in conjunction with the departmental managers
• Carry out all inductions and introduction of new recruits into the workplace and implementation of training for all operational staff as per the quality system
• Responsible for identifying reporting and implementing proposed changes/additions to the training programme to the departmental managers
• Responsible for updating and ensuring that all training manuals reflect current working practices and issue
• Responsible for creation of monthly quizzes on Test Generator by reviewing CSR’s, internal issues and new processes
• Responsible for implementation of yearly re-fresh Assessments
• Responsible for implementation of call and alarm evaluations
• To assist the training team to implement new processes and tasks
• To assist the training team with the implementation of testing and hyper care of new clients and processes
• Ad-hoc out of hours training will be required on occasion, time back will be given
• Travel to Cobra House SOC will be required at times for training, willingness to travel is desirable
• To carry out any instruction / task issued by the Training Manager (Including holding remote or on-site training sessions with Securitas staff at Cobra House SOC)

What you will need...

Essential

• 1+ years’ experience in an ARC/SOC
• PSS Frontline CCTV Licence
• Competency in MS Office

 Desirable

• Level 3 Award in Education & Training
• PSA Licence
• Full UK Driving License
