In thisrole you will:

Join ourgrowing Group Security team here at Webjet Limited. This is is awideranging role that covers a set of key responsibilitiesincluding managing our thirdparty risk assessments project riskassessments understanding key risks to the business and workingwith our stakeholders and development teams to put appropriatecontrols in place to mitigate these risks.


Keyelements to this role include but not limitedto:

  • Understand ourinternal threat landscape and work with relevant teams to mitigaterelated risks.
  • Support and collaborate withdevelopment and platform engineering teams in building securityinto DevOps processes.
  • Champion ourvulnerability management program to understand key weaknesses tothe business and help tune thesecontrols.
  • Collaborate with development teams toinvestigate security alerts raised and track through toremediation.
  • Champion our security reviewprocess by performing risk assessments for new projects andenhancements to understand key risks and appropriate mitigation tothe business.
  • Work closely with our keystakeholders to ensure they understand their environment andbusiness processes to identify key risks and provide advice on whatappropriate controls could be implemented to reduce our exposure torisk.
  • Support the audit function within theteam to ensure we are operating to internal and relevant industrystandards.


Theskills we would love to see in yoursuitcase

  • Experiencewith cloud technologies in AWS & Azure (AWS isessential).
  • 2 yrs experience in a similar role.
  • Prior experience with Web Development andSoftware Engineering with C# PHP Golang Python or otherlanguages.
  • Experience with security relatedarchitecture code reviews and security assuranceactivities.
  • Experience with hardening andsecurity of Linux operating system.
  • Understanding of risk management andconducting a technologyspecific risk assessment.
  • Ability to explain security risks and conceptsin layman terms.
  • Research and recommend newsecurity technologies to new or existing problems and be able toexplain and communicate design decisions.
  • Havestrong communication skills and be comfortable providing feedbackand updates to key stakeholders within the business.
  • Enjoy finding solutions to problems andworking effectively with others to reach agreement.
  • A professional approach to work integrity andrespect for policies.
  • Handson technicalsecurity/penetration testing for Web applications.
  • Knowledge of OWASP top 10 and relevantcontrols
