Are you passionate about automotive repair and looking for a dynamic, supportive work environment? Steer Newcastle Express is seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our dedicated team. Here, you’ll play a pivotal role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition with precision and excellence.

As a Paint Technician, you will:

Perform High-Quality Paint Repairs : Including colour matching, blending, and finishing, to restore vehicles to factory specifications. Prepare Surfaces for Painting : Sanding, masking, and priming as needed. Maintain a Clean Work Environment : Ensure that equipment and tools are properly maintained and used safely. Communicate Effectively : With team members, management, and customers to ensure a clear understanding of repair needs and expectations. Adhere to Safety Protocols : Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

About You:

Experience : Previous experience in automotive painting and refinishing. Proficiency : Skilled in colour matching and mixing, using computerized paint mixing systems if applicable. Attention to Detail : Ability to produce high-quality paint finishes.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.

Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with automotive repair processes and best practices. Adaptability : Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
