Science Teacher

An Ofsted graded ‘GOOD’ secondary school in Chorley are seeking a:

Full-time Science Teacher

-          Maternity cover from Sept. 2024 – Jul. 2025

-          QTS required – ECTs and experienced Teachers are welcome to apply.

-          Strong behaviour management is essential.

-          Biology specialism desirable.

The school is Ofsted graded ‘GOOD’ due to the caring ethos created by leaders, where pupils are keen to learn. Subject leaders have organised demanding curriculums well, which means that pupils can build successfully on earlier learning. You will be required to adapt the curriculum effectively for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Pupils behave well in lessons, and they enjoy school. Staff are proud to be part of a such a warm school community. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
