We are looking for anexperienced Regional Facilities Manager to join our fantastic teamat Roxby House, Scunthorpe

JobPurpose 

To coordinate and manage theFacilities Team and to ensure that a high quality facilitiesservice is provided to the region

The successfulcandidate will be expected to:

  • Tomanage the Facilities Team providing day to day supervision forplanned and responsible repair programmes, domestic tasks andcatering duties (service dependent) 
  • Toensure that the facilities provided are of a high standard at alltimes and that the facilities team exercise their fullresponsibilities, duties and tasks
  • Ensure aconsistent approach across theregion 
  • Responsible for the coordinationof the relevant areas of the capital and operationalexpenditure 
  • To monitor and auditschedules of work and the quality of completedprojects 
  • Liaise with external providersto ensure cost effective contracts are in place and reviewedregularly 
  • To prioritise and organiseplanned and responsive workload for all areas ofresponsibility

StaffManagement

  • Undertake agreed delegatedmanagement responsibilities on an ongoing basis, in support of theLine Manager, for example supervisions, annual appraisals,probation reviews and return to work meetings 
  • Lead and supervise the staff on shift toensure that they carry out their duties and behave appropriately atall times

GeneralDuties

  • Ensure awareness that theservice operates to agreed budgets and contribute to keeping withinthese budgets as instructed
  • Exercise vigilancein respect of Health and Safety and promptly report all hazardsand/or remedying them where appropriate. Undertake all duties in amanner calculated to minimise or avoid unnecessary risks,personally or to others
