Youll becrafting intuitive digital experiences that blend user needs withbusiness goals. Designing interfaces in line with best practicesand brand guidelines that delight and empower users while drivingtangible results.

Working closely with ourProduct Managers and Software Developers youll be working onmultiple exciting product roadmapinitiatives.

Car& Classic is one of the largest automotive marketplaces inthe world. Were lucky to have thousands of usergenerated listingssubmitted monthly with content gems from James Bonds Aston DB5 toElvis Presleys Cadillac. The site is old launched in 2005 but undernew VCbacked ownership since 2018 and on an exciting tripledigitgrowth journey to bring classic vehicle transactionsonline.

Roleand responsibilities:

UXDesign

  • Ensure our digitalproducts deliver marketleading humancentred intuitive experiencesto our engagedaudience.

  • Work in aniterative dataled collaborative way to constantly improve featuresand functionality for our users and meet evolving businessneeds.

User Research& Usability Testing:

  • Leaduserresearch initiatives to gather valuable data and customerfeedback then use these insights to inform and refine humancentreddesign solutions.
  • Conduct usability testing touncover insights and understand user behaviours needs and painpoints.

UIDesign:

  • Craft engaging andeffective interfaces which facilitate excellent user experience andalign with brandaesthetics.

  • Develop designsin a consistent modular manner ensuring scalability and ease ofimplementation.

DesignSystem:

  • Expand and maintainour atomic design system ensuring it remains insync with codelibraries and serves as a reliable foundation for our productdesign and developmentefforts.

Stayingcurrent:

  • Keep uptodate withexperience design industry trends best practices and emergingtechnologies.

Sprints:

  • Workclosely with our Product Managers and Software Developers to ensuredesigns are always ready ahead of eachsprint.

  • Ensure seamlessintegration of design and developmentprocesses.



Theskills attributes and experience you musthave:

  • HighScale Design: Expertise in designing forhighscale websites andapps.

  • HumanCentred Design: Utilises research user data andcustomer feedback to inform design decisions continuously refiningand optimising designs for maximum impact and useradvocacy.

  • UXVisionary: Passionate about crafting seamlessintuitive user experiences with a keen eye for detail and auserfirst approach in all designaspects.

  • Design Systems: Proven experience and understandingof developing and maintaining a comprehensive robust designsystems.

  • Figma Aficionado: Fluent in Figma utilising itsadvanced features to create complete well documented design fileswhich can be handed over for development with minimalexplanation

  • Collaborative Team Player: Thrives in collaborativeenvironments effectively working with crossfunctional teams tobring design concepts to life ensuring alignment with project goalsand userneeds.

  • Innovative Problem Solver: Brings a unique blend ofcreativity and analytical skills to tackle complex designchallenges consistently delivering innovative and effectivesolutions.

  • Sense of Ownership: Driven to complete projectsaccording toplan.

  • Feedback Enthusiast: Comfortable giving andreceiving feedback for continuousimprovement.
