This post attracts a Welcome Bonus
This comprises of an initial payment of £1,800 pro rata to hours worked, payable with your first salary, a further payment of £1,800 pro rata to hours worked after 12 months service and a final payment of £1,400 pro rata to hours worked after 18 months service. Main duties of the job
The Role of a band 6 Mental Health Practitioner within the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment is to co-ordinate and provide specialist acute crisis psychiatric interventions and expertise to services users in crisis 24/7 per 52 weeks per year within their own home/residence, providing a gate keeping service to the inpatient wards and community teams.
To facilitate early discharge (Step Down) where appropriate and provide an effective viable alternative to hospital admission for clients in crisis by developing and individualised approach to the practical and functional needs of the service user.
The role is dynamic and requires specialist assessment of risk. The Adult Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team is professional and diverse team to work with and will provide you with lots of experience across the acute sector. The successful candidate will act as a role model and resource for junior/less experienced staff and students.
