The Role
Based within the core West Berkshire integrated Drug and Alcohol Service, this specialist practitioner role will lead on outreach provision to support greater access opportunities for under-served and hard to reach communities within the County .
The role will involve:
To deliver excellent drug and alcohol services to clients and their significant others, including family members, friends and carers. Delivering prevention work in a variety of community settings to prevent people from engaging in substance misusing and risk-taking behaviours. Develop strong links with a wide range of community groups to encourage and promote access into services for hard to reach and under-served groups. To work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholder across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence with all VIA policies and Safeguarding principles
Location
1 Station Road, Newbury, RG14 7LP (the role will involve some peripatetic working and outreach across the county)
Due to the peripatetic nature and geographical area of this role, it would be advantageous to have a driving licence.

The core hours of this role will be Monday- Friday 9am until 5pm, but there may be some occasional out of hours work which would be considered on a rota basis.
Full time, part time/job share, and flexible working applications are welcomed and will be considered will be considered in conjunction with hybrid models.
