Job Description

Do you want to join a company in rapid growth and take on a key role at one of our newest and biggest sites in the UK?

We have a great permanent opportunity to join an awesome maintenance team delivering vital work for a key customer at our Rugby site. The role will entail the following;

  • Ensure there are no customer operational failures due to equipment failure
  • Perform systems analysis on various systems including S7 PLC, Profibus, ASi-Bus, EtherCat network. Log analysis on sorter controllers
  • Perform diversified electrical and mechanical tasks including analytical troubleshooting, both in a planned and reactive environment.
  • Ensure all PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales to a high standard.
  • Identify problematic faults, rectify and monitor performance on a continual basis.
  • Backup and restore PLC
  • Ability to articulate detailed reports
  • Monitor Operational sorter performances and implementing of continuous improvement measures at customer request
  • Support existing site based BEUMER Group CS Colleagues
  • Support with project and facility management work.
  • General customer support
  • 4 on 4 off shifts, days and nights

Qualifications

 

  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 Engineering/HNC Eng/HND Eng/ONC Eng
  • Siemens Step 7 Level 2
  • Knowledge of conducting sorter Health Checks
  • Knowledge of sortation and conveyor systems i.e. LS3000 CB or TT/LS4000 CB or TT/BG Sorters/Line Sorters
  • Knowledge of Emergency Stop System
  • Knowledge of Safety Supervision System
