Cover Supervisor

Multiple schools within Stoke-on-Trent

£80 per day (dependent on experience)

 

About the role

Connex Education are excited to be partnering with Shaw Education Trust. We are currently building a supply of bank cover supervisors to provide day to day lesson cover in primary and secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent.

The role is immediate start, with both short term and long term positions available.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise whole classes during short term absence of teachers
  • Manage behaviour of students while they complete set work
  • Deal with immediate problems or emergencies according to school policies
  • Reporting back on behaviour of pupils during the class

 

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Have experience working with children
  • Be confident in managing classroom behaviour
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be adaptable and able to supervise a range of subjects
  • Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
