About the role
A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team, supporting several members of the Digital Leadership Team. This role will provide financial and business performance support for the line management team of the IT department, driving the business to achieve its financial and related business targets, ensuring compliance with all corporate governance requirements, maintaining internal controls & supporting in critical business investment decisions.
You will play a crucial role in providing financial insights, analysis, and support to your line areas, enabling informed decisions to be made and business objectives met.
Key Accountabilities
Develops plans and actions with the business to achieve strategy through negotiation, knowledge sharing and offering challenging advice Uses insights to advise on decisions to reduce cost, and increase profit and revenue, balancing financial performance with the customer value proposition Utilises knowledge and insight on available data, business issues and drivers to advise others on how to generate required reports, analysis and insights Leads Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting Provides a single point of contact for Finance to Line Management Team, reports, understands, challenges and tracks spend Lead the review of business cases submitted Single point of contact for IAG Tech financial delivery Leads supplier cost reduction programme across all external supplier spend Ensures all major business decisions are taken with sufficient understanding of their financial consequences Ensures effective co-ordination of ongoing control of all capital expenditure projects Leads and inspires the teamAbout you
Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent The ability to develop business strategies The ability to devise and follow through on profit improvement programmes Experience within a large matrix organisation Practical application of accounting regulations Preferable: IT related business experience Preferable: Line management experienceWhat we offer:
