About the Role:

GSL Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Primary schools in Lincoln. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support to students with a range of special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Foster positive relationships with students to promote their social, emotional, and academic development.

The successful candidate will:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a primary setting.
  • Relevant experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key.
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
