The Columbo Group is searching for a dynamic and experienced Group Head Chef to oversee the kitchens at our iconic venues, The Blues Kitchens in London.

At The Blues Kitchen, we deliver a fresh 'American grill meets classic club' menu. We're all about creating delicious, accessible dishes that cater for all. 

About the Role: 

As Group Head Chef, you will be the driving force behind our culinary operations across multiple venues. Collaborating closely with the Executive Chef, you will: 

• Acting Head Chef Support: Step in to lead kitchen teams as acting Head Chef when needed, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining our high standards. 

• Lead Learning & Development: Design and implement training programs to elevate the skills of our kitchen teams, nurturing talent and promoting career growth. 

• Recruitment & Team Leadership: Manage recruitment for all kitchen positions, ensuring we hire and retain the best culinary talent. Lead by example and foster a positive, motivating environment. 

• Compliance & Audits: Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, manage audits, and uphold our strict kitchen standards. 

• Financial Management: Take charge of budgeting, food cost management, and pricing strategies to balance quality with profitability across our venues. 

What We’re Looking For: 

We need a seasoned chef with strong people management skills and a passion for developing talent. The ideal candidate will have: 

• Proven experience in a Head Chef or multi-site leadership role, ideally in high-volume, fast-paced environments. 

• A track record of successfully managing kitchen teams, with a focus on training, development, and retention. 

• Expertise in compliance, health and safety standards, and kitchen audits. 

• Strong financial acumen, with experience managing food costs and kitchen budgets. 

• The ability to remain flexible, stepping in as acting Head Chef when necessary and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
