Our client is looking to build out its CISO team with a Cyber Assurance Manager, reporting into the Head of Information Security.

This is a unique opportunity, responsible for designing, managing and overseeing the assurance program - a key part of ensuring detection, prevention and response to risks (including data theft) and make a lasting impact on the strategy, growth and direction of the team.

Role of a Cyber Assurance Manager
  • Design, manage and oversee Assurance program
  • Establish 'Assurance awareness' in the business to drive risk awareness and effective risk management
  • Identify and respond to Assurance incidents and escalations
  • Create and implement Assurance policies, standards, processes and procedures
  • Liaise with key stakeholders including senior management to ensure effective progress of the assurance program as well as assurance awareness.
Requirements of a Cyber Assurance Manager
  • Knowledge and experience of Assurance principles and programs
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Purview with experience of implementation
  • Technical expertise and experience in Assurance tools and techniques to perform data collection, analysis and reporting
  • Management experience - leading and directing teams with clear and realistic objectives
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • A good understanding of security frameworks including ISO standards, Cyber essentials, and data protection.
