TheRole

As our Fundraising Manageryou will be at the forefront of delivering successful fundraisingcampaigns driving growth and fostering innovation through existingand new corporate partnerships. Collaborating with internal andexternal partners youll manage initiatives such as the Lucky HiveLottery Kit Sponsors and Fundraising Events. Your strategicthinking will shape the future of fundraising at Brentford FCCommunity Sports Trust.

The postholder will haveexperience of delivering a variety of fundraising campaignsdelivering against targets. You will be able to communicateeffectively with a wide range of audiences including fundraisersdonors stakeholders and partners.

MainPurpose of Job

The FundraisingManager will deliver and run the successful fundraising campaignsdelivering against targets to grow our income and innovation inthis area matching levels of ambition across the whole departmentand organisation.

Identifyingfundraising opportunities via existing and new corporatepartnerships including delivering efficient account managementacross all established partnerships and will play an active role indriving marketing campaigns across theorganisation.

Collaborate with Brentford FCCommercial and Marketing departments to maximiseopportunities.


Responsibilities

ManageFundraisingInitiatives:

  • Manageand review the current portfolio of successful and longrunningcampaigns (Lucky Hive Lottery Kit Sponsors Fundraising Events) aswell as trends in unsolicited online and frontofhouse donationsconsidering strategically the future direction of fundraisingcampaigns at the Brentford FC Community SportsTrust.
  • Maintain and improve the ROI offundraising campaigns and initiatives.
  • Produceregular management reports for the Head of Marketing andPartnerships and the Business DevelopmentSubgroup.
  • Produce strong targeted copy andinnovative approaches for campaignmaterials.
  • Manage relationships with suppliersboth internal and external including creative support print anddesign ensuring the most costeffective approaches forcampaigns.
  • Drive the set priorities and targetsset at the Trusts Partnerships and Fundraisingstrategy.

CampaignsManagement Marketing andCommunications:

  • Developengaging content and innovative marketing campaigns to drivefundraising objectives.
  • Coordinate the TrustsCampaign calendar and work directly with the Marketing Manager todeliver results driven MarketingCampaigns
  • Collaborate with the Trusts Marketingand Communications department to execute successful campaigns andmaximise Brentford FC Player Appearances to driveresults.

Partnershipsand accountmanagement:

  • Accountmanagement responsibility across corporatepartnerships
  • Support the development of newcorporate partnerships to drive unrestricted incometargets.
  • Collaborate with the Brentford FCcommercial department to maximise Fundraising opportunities andfurther connect with corporatepartners/sponsors.

Safeguarding:

  • Collaboratewith other team members and departments to create a cohesiveapproach to safeguarding.
  • Participate intraining sessions related to safeguarding and emergencyresponse.
  • Report any safeguarding concernspromptly to the appropriate authorities or designatedpersonnel.

  • TrustsMarketing and Communicationsdepartment.

  • Work closelywith colleagues across all Trusts departments to ensure thatfundraising campaign are delivered as costeffectively as possibleon brand and in line with the Trusts priorities/areas ofneed.

PersonSpecification

Essential

  • Previousexperience in managing a variety of fundraising campaigns withinthe commercial or charitable sector
  • Experiencein managing campaigns individually and as part of team runningdirect mail email and mobile campaigns
  • Abilityto be creative and use initiative for fundraising.
  • Experience of running lotteries or draws forfundraising
  • Outstanding written communicationskills including the ability to tailor communications for differentaudiences and media whilst maintaining consistent tone andmessaging
  • A demonstrable track record insetting and meeting income targets
  • Experienceusing Project Management systems such as Monday Salesforce or othersystems.
  • Strong understanding of social mediaand its potential use withinfundraising
  • Outstanding written communicationskills including the ability to tailor communications for differentaudiences and media whilst maintaining consistent tone andmessaging
  • Strong attention to detail andproofreadingskills
