The position involves:

Monitor picking operations within designated area to ensure safety and performance are maintained in-line with company expectations and targetsAccurate receiving picking and dispatching of pallets.Maintain stock control in line with company policy and procedure.Engage with warehouse operatives to encourage best practice and understand any issues which are preventing them from achieving optimal pick rate in-line with company targets.Take appropriate action to ensure any system or facility issues affecting optimal pick rate are rectified in a timely mannerEnsure warehouse operatives are following company procedure in terms of safety and picking operations.Carry out performance reviews and one-to-one meetings with direct reports as required to maintain company standards and targets.

Essential Skills required:

Previous experience of working within the warehouse/transport environment is essential.Hold a current LLOP, VNA, counterbalance licence.IT knowledge including warehouse management systems (Manhattan Scale) is essential.Be able to lead change, engage and communicate to the team.Be able to identify and drive continuous improvement.Ability to communicate at all levels.Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
