Purpose:
To provide a full range of dispensingand clinical services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide asafe and efficient Pharmaceutical Service within the accepted legal andprofessional requirements using relevant policies and procedures and the GPhCcode of ethics.
Ensure fullpersonal and staff compliance with company SOPs.
To operatethe collection of prescriptions and home delivery service, ensuring that anefficient service meeting the needs of the store, surgeries and patients isprovided at all times.
Ensure thatall enhanced services are proactively offered to patients and customers and thatopportunities for new services are highlighted to management so thatappropriate action can be taken.
Project apositive image of the company as its representative, both to company staff andexternal organisations.
Ensure thatall Health & Safety requirements are met, and that all necessary recordsare kept/maintained, and staff are aware of their own personal responsibilitiesfor Health and Safety.
To work withthe branch pharmacist managers and superintendent pharmacist to ensure thateach pharmacy worked at is operating efficiently and safely and that there isgood communication at all times.
Business performance:
Promote andmaintain good, long term customer relations.
Develop andmaintain relationships with all relevant Healthcare Professionals includingGPs, practice and district nurses, care homes and action teams.
To activelyprovide locally commissioned services, both private and NHS.
Ensuremaximum reimbursement through accurate dispensing, purchasing and endorsingprocedures, including any specific instruction from branch manager orsuperintendent pharmacist
Identify newopportunities to grow the business and seek branch manager or superintendentpharmacist approval before proceeding.
Monitor andcontrol operating expenses in order to maximize the profitability of any of thepharmacies worked at
Ensure thatthe range and level of stock is maintained in all pharmacies to a level thatmeets the needs of the business.
Maintain highretail and dispensary housekeeping standards.
Ensure highstandards of security practice within the pharmacy premises.
Attendmeetings or training events called by the directors or superintendent pharmacist.
Monitor localcompetitor activity and respond accordingly, ensuring branch manager or managingdirector is kept informed.
To workclosely and liaise effectively and promptly with all the branch managers withinthe pharmacies you work in. This includes communicating any dispensing,staffing, logistical or any other issues that arise during your working day.
Work with thebranch manager and managing director to manage staff, maintaining effectiveemployee relations according to company policies and employment laws and ensurerelevant HR procedures are followed.
Facilitatethe training and development of all staff, including facilitating with thebranch manager on implementing the appraisal process.
To activelyparticipate and offer a range of advanced NHS and private clinical services. Bewilling to develop ones own clinical skills to align with the visions andobjectives of the company in clinical service development.
Be willing toact as a tutor and mentor for students, pre-registration technicians,pre-registration pharmacists and pharmacists in line with the visionsidentified by the superintendent pharmacist
Undertake anyadditional duties associated with the conduct of the business when requested bythe branch manager, directors or superintendent pharmacist

Accredited for all NHS Wales Clinical Community Pharmacy Services Independent Prescriber The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. Welsh and/or English Speakers are equally welcome to apply.
