Position Summary 

MMS have a deep-rooted knowledge in Tactical Data Links and Secure Networks, allowing us to serve these insights to where they will have the biggest impact. In 2024, MMD are expanding our remote team to continue the development of our Secure Networking product lines. We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated software tester to join this established team.

Role and Responsibilities 

Assist the team with refinement of user stories, through a testing lens. Work with product and engineering to clarify acceptance criteria. Estimate test effort associated with user stories. Execute manual software tests. Create and maintain test plans and appropriate documentation. Create and maintain automation scripts. Support other testers with broader system testing. 

Skills and Experience 

Our ideal candidate would be someone with:

1. 2+ years’ experience of hands-on software testing.

2. Mixture of manual testing and automation experience.

3. Enthusiasm for team delivery in an Agile environment.

4. Drive to learn constantly and further your knowledge.

5. Strong organisational skills, proactive approach to task admin and docs.

6. Meticulous attention to detail.

7. Shift-left approach to testing and willingness to participate throughout the whole 

lifecycle of user stories.

8. Great interpersonal skills, able to confidently communicate and issues to both 

technical and non-technical team members.

In addition to the above, any of the following would be a bonus:

1. Knowledge and experience working with PlayWright.

2. Experience working on geospatial visualisation products.

3. Coding Experience

4. Knowledge of git and source control strategies.

5. Familiarity with the Azure DevOps platform.

  Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
 This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 37.5 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
