Protocol Education is looking for a Care Support Worker to join our dedicated team of professionals in Northumberland's special needs education sector. You’ll work with students at the primary, secondary, and post-16 levels, supporting their unique developmental journeys.
Your Role Includes:- Enhancing sensory awareness and improving motor skills through tailored activities.
- Providing individualised care aligned with student-specific care plans.
- Teaching vocabulary and advancing speech and language skills.
- Facilitating creative lessons such as art, cooking, music, and dance to inspire student engagement.
- Supporting social and cognitive growth to help students thrive.
- Position: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Contract: Year-long with potential for extension
- Support: Work one-to-one with students to meet their diverse needs
- Collaboration: Be part of a supportive and enthusiastic team of professionals
- Immersive Experience: Opportunity to work in the school’s residential centre (optional)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
