NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a consultant Rheumatologist to join our team.

NHS Lanarkshire is responsible for improving the health and providing comprehensive health care to a population of approximately 650,000 people living within the North and South Lanarkshire local authority areas. NHS Lanarkshire currently employs approximately 12,500 staff.

The Rheumatology service within NHS Lanarkshire works across the 3 Acute hospital sites; University Hospital Hairmyres, University Hospital Wishaw and University Hospital Monklands. Outpatient clinics are also provided at Stonehouse Hospital. There is a team of specialist nurses and Allied Health Professionals who work closely with the consultant team to manage and support Rheumatology patients in the community. 

The job is offered as a full-time post on a 10 PA basis (including up to 2 non-DCC) but applications will be considered from those wishing to work less than full-time. If full-time, up to 2 EPA’s may be available to undertake additional clinical activity.
