Your new company 
Your new school is a large secondary school with academy status located in Skelmersdale. The school is coeducational and caters for pupils aged 11-16. The school has consistently been graded as good in all areas by OFSTED and, as a result, has established an excellent reputation in the local community. There is an extremely supportive senior leadership team throughout school with a clear vision towards achieving outstanding. In addition to the above, the school offers state-of-the-art facilities and has excellent transport links. 
Your new role 
Joining a high-achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching Science to KS4. The role is to commence as soon as possible and will operate, full time, on a temporary basis until May half-term as a minimum. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work, ensuring that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades.

What you'll need to succeed 
To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS or PGCE and have experience of teaching Science to KS4. You must be able to commence the role immediately and be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment. 
What you'll get in return In return, you will be paid a competitive daily rate and will gain experience working within a successful Science department. In addition to the support from the department, you will also be supported by a dedicated HAYS consultant who will assist with any queries.
